What words would your students use to describe their experience during a lecture? After completing an assignment? During a group project? Just as importantly, how would you describe your own experience teaching? Engagement. Curiosity. Creativity. Fun. Challenge. These are just a few words that describe Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi’s concept of flow. During this workshop we will explore the core components of flow, discuss its benefits, and spend time playing and learning ways to incorporate activities into your own classroom that facilitate flow.
